BCO’s, Below is an Application to Join An Elite Group of Landstar Drivers to Haul Special Entertainment Shipments to include concert tours, special trade show events and dedicated services from direct customers requiring the BEST Landstar has to offer. My Agency is NTC and I am building this group in order to bring back our recognition into the trucking industry, mainly to prove we ARE the BEST. Not all drivers will qualify for this group, although you may think your the best, entertainment business requires a particular breed of driver and the breed I am looking for consists of this:

  

Ultimate Patience - Ability to Follow Instructions - Ability to work well with diverse groups of people - Must be able to look presentable at all times (You & Your Truck )- Be able to analyze a situation and do what it takes to complete the job - Must be able to work as a TEAM member - Must be willing to Update the Office Regularly when asked - Must be able to speak and understand English - Must be able to keep issues such as Load Details, Money, Personal Problems, Attitude Conflicts, etc. confined to yourself and ONLY discuss these issues with this office. (Never Show Anger/Irritation or otherwise on-site in front of or in the presence of the crews, production teams or other BCO’s).

 

  Additionally, You must follow all Landstar Safety Guidelines and requirements along with the requirements that NTC requests. Acceptance into this group does not restrict you from other freight you may want to accept, however, being a part of this group, you may be asked to position yourself at a moments notice to or near a venue or vendor in order to pick up their shipment. Without this cooperation from you on this level, our group will not benefit from the customer and could jeopardize a new customer by not being able to provide prompt service.

Special Equipment Requirements:

Vans- 53 ft Air-Ride Logistics Trailer, 8 E-Track Decking Bars, 8 Ratchet Straps- Be able to scale 40,000 lbs.

Platform Trailers: Flat Or Step - 48 ft or better air ride - Be able to scale up to 46,000 lbs Max weight.

 

Currently we are seeking out qualified professional BCO’s for a large project starting in the 1st weeks in MAY 2011. We will be wanting Flatbeds & Stepdecks that can haul a weight of 46k or more and be able to go into Canada legally (Passports required, Special Trailer restrictions and wheelbase restrictions apply. Verify with Corporate that you are compliant). Canadian cities we will be visiting are Winnipeg, Edmonton, Toronto, Moncton & Montreal. These are great steady pay loads with average mileages at 1000 or less per week. “ Special Note: Landstar is currently out of Canadian Legal Trailers so if you don’t have one now, you will have to get one on your own.“ We have a lot of work so sign up now.
